The Hare and the Tortoise.

Story 

Once, a hare and tortoise lived in a jungle. The hare was very proud of his fast speed. He often made fun of the slow speed of the tortoise. The tortoise could not bear this insult for long. One day, he challenged the hare to run a race. The hare accepted this challenge and the race started. The hare ran at full speed and was out of sight in no time. On the way, he thought that the tortoise would be far behind. So, he lay down under a shady tree and was lost in dreams. On the other hand, the tortoise did not lose heart. He went on slowly and steadily. On the way, he found the hare sleeping. He passed by him silently and reached the goal. When the hare woke up, it was getting dark. When he reached the winning post, he saw his rival already sitting there. He had lost the competition. 

Moral(1): Slow and steady wins the race.

Moral(2): Pride hath a fall.
