A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed.

Story

Once, two friends set out on a journey. They pledged to help each other through thick and thin. When they were passing through a  jungle, they saw a bear coming towards them. They were frightened. One of them knew how to climb up a tree. He at once climbed up a tall tree. The other did not know how to climb up a tree. He at once lay down and held his breath. The bear sniffed him from head to feet. He took him for dead and ent away. Then the selfish friend climbed down the tree. He asked him jokingly what the bear had said in his ear. The other said that the bear had advised him not to trust a selfish friend. Saying this, he started his journey alone.

Moral: A friend in need is a friend indeed.
