The Foolish Stag.

Story

One day, a stag was thirsty. he went to a pool to drink water. The water in the pool shone like a mirror. When he was drinking water, he saw his reflection in the water. He was very happy to see his beautiful horns. But he was sad to see his thin legs. He was thinking about it that he heard the growl of the hounds. Two hounds were running towards him. A hunter was also following them. His thin legs helped him to run fast. He passed through the bushes. His beautiful horns were caught up in them. He tried his best to free himself but in vain. The hounds came and tore him into pieces. His beautiful horns of which he was proud, brought about his death.

Moral (1): Pride hath a fall.

Moral (2): All the glitters is not gold. 

Moral (3): Appearances are often deceptive.
